Job overview
Our customers are restaurants. UK Sales Executives are responsible for identifying leads and introducing new restaurants to Livebookings, explaining the key benefits of our products and services and helping to set up new accounts so that these restaurants generate bookings and revenue as effectively as possible.
Key responsibilities
1. Overall key objectives
- Exceed restaurant recruitment and account maximisation targets
- Ensure that all restaurants are receiving bookings through their own websites and Network Partner sites within their first month with Livebookings
- Ensure that a smooth handover to the account management team is achieved at the end of the first month
- Continue to build on our existing market reputation in all correspondence with customers and prospective customers
- Provide insight and knowledge via feedback from the marketplace to help us as a company to constantly evolve our products and services
2. Segmentation and prospecting
- Within our existing database and prospect lists, identify and contact target restaurants
- Proactively identify new sources of leads
- Book and prepare for sales meetings through verbal and written correspondence with prospects and existing customers
3. Generate signed contracts
- Conduct sales meetings and present the options for working with Livebookings (including various diary software solutions)
- Explain pricing options, helping our customers to select the most suitable package
- Supply the required documentation to the account executive team to set up new restaurant clients
4. Follow-up
- Collect and collate feedback from restaurants on Livebookings – and work with colleagues to improve our services
- Be an active contributor to improve Livebookings sales strategy
- Provide basic training sessions to restaurants using our software solutions
5. Teamwork
- Contribute to the sales team and the company in general
- Use our internal customer management system effectively to ensure that it can be used to provide accurate reports on the sales pipeline
- Ensure that Livebookings is constantly evolving its proposition to restaurants – keep a customer focus
- Work with the Sales Manager to continually monitor and improve on sales performance
- Participate in team sales projects
Required skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have
- A proven track record in new sales (essential)
- Some experience from the hospitality industry, preferably restaurants (very desirable)
- An understanding of working with people of different nationalities and cultures
- An interest in using new technology to improve performance

• Fully computer literate (essential)
