12 April 2010

Livebookings hosts Academy Event, where speakers from thinkBDA and D&D London explain how to increase revenue through a website.

Online restaurant marketing expert, Livebookings, is holding its third Academy event of 2010 on 22nd April. The event will provide an overview of how a restaurant can use its website to generate profit.

Attendees will be offered advice on making a website efficient and customer friendly, and given tips on how to turn the online presence of a restaurant into a cover generator. At the end of the event, there will be opportunities to talk with others working within the industry and to put questions to the speakers.

Speakers at the session include Andrew Johnson, Account Director at thinkBDA; Anabelle Tilley, Online Marketing Manager at D&D London, Magnus Hultberg Strategic Advisor and Anneliese Hainz, Key Account Manager both from Livebookings.

Olivia FitzGerald, Livebookings UK and Ireland General Manager, says: “A restaurant often underestimates the power of its website. Not only is it the online face of the brand, but it’s also a vital tool for generating profit. This Academy aims to help restaurateurs understand the importance of a website, and will offer some tricks and techniques to help generate covers.”
