PizzaExpress puts online reservations on the menu

Casual dining restaurant moves to the Livebookings reservations system.

PizzaExpress has adopted the market-leading online reservations and marketing platform, Livebookings, offering its customers a flexible and simple way to book a table in its restaurants. This announcement means that Livebookings now dominates the fine and casual dining markets, supplying its cloud-based solution to the majority of the R200 – the list of top restaurant operators in the UK.

PizzaExpress has rolled out the Livebookings platform to 385 restaurants nationwide. The real-time booking system fully integrates with the restaurant's POS, which means every type of customer booking from online to over the phone can be managed centrally, giving PizzaExpress greater visibility and control of its customer data. Unlike competitor products, the Livebookings solution does not require any additional hardware - a key benefit for restaurants with multiple sites.

The deal with all PizzaExpress restaurants in the UK increases Livebookings’ catalogue of large restaurant clients and this success is mirrored in the US which has recently begun working with the Bonefish Grill chain.
